I love taking a beautiful scene in nature and narrowing down its focus to just a piece of the whole. Later, when I download my photos, I am amazed at the results. Not at my photography abilities, but at God's work in our world. When I am outdoors, I see beauty, wonder and the hand of God in all things not man-made.
Don't get me wrong, I like photographing man-made things too, but they do not move me as nature does.
Which of these in this picture do you like better? Lake Superior,
